Former AKB48 member Mariko Shinoda, who caused a stir last year with her alleged marital infidelity, will play the role of an “adulterous wife” in a drama series to be broadcast in January next year, according to a report in the October 17 issue of “Shukan Josei.
Speaking of Shinoda, her own suspicions of infidelity surfaced in August of last year, causing an uproar and surprising the public with leaked LINE conversations and audio of their quarrel leaked onto the Internet. The couple’s divorce was finalized in March of this year.
